The ancient filter coffee extraction system today in the form of the V60 Dripper , so called because of the special angles of the filter sides. In one cup or mug to share, the V60 Dripper filters coffee to bring out all its aromas. You will enjoy tasting and admiring it.
Preparation time: 6-8 min
What I need:
- V60 Dripper and paper filter
- A cup or mug (carafe) for coffee
- A jug of hot water (90-95°C)
- Coffee (6g per 100g of water)
- Coffee grinder or ground coffee for the filter
- Libra
- Hour
How do I prepare the V60?
Phase 1: I WEIGH, GRIND AND PREPARE THE COFFEE FOR FILTERING
First, I weigh the coffee beans (6g of coffee per 100g of water) and grind them, a little coarser, suitable for the filter. I put a filter in the V60 Dripper and rinse it with water to get rid of the papery taste.
Phase 2: WATCHING "BLOOM"
I put everything on the scale, pour 12 g of ground coffee into the filter, and start pouring the coffee. First, I pour 45 g of water and wait 45 seconds and just enjoy the wonderful "bloom". I always pour the water from the center outwards, with circulation. During the "bloom" I enjoy the wonderful smell of coffee. This phase is important, because it is precisely in this phase that the coffee begins to express all its aromas and smells.
Phase 3: I FINISH PREPARATION
After 45 seconds, I continue pouring water. This time I go for the two-pour method, which means I pour over the coffee first to get the "bloom" and then pour over the rest. I wait for the coffee to be thoroughly filtered, and then I just pour it into a cup and enjoy this very tasty preparation.
I also often like to use the 45 second 100 gram method, which means that I pour 100 g of water every 45 seconds.
