CHEMEX®, 8-CUP

The CHEMEX® Classic 8-cup coffee maker is an iconic brewing device that has been delighting coffee lovers around the world since 1941. Designed for the "pour-over" brewing method, it works in combination with specially designed CHEMEX Bonded™ filters to ensure the perfect cup of coffee by reliably removing oils, bitterness, excess acidity, and fine sediments.

The carafe is made of high-quality, durable borosilicate glass, the same type used for professional laboratory equipment. This non-porous material ensures that no odors are absorbed into the glass and that no chemicals or aftertastes are released into the coffee, preserving a 100% pure flavor profile. The device features a recognizable, timeless design with an included polished wood collar and leather tie, which allow for safe handling and pouring even when the carafe is full of hot coffee. Before leaving production, each unit is carefully inspected, polished, and hand-tied.
