Our electric popcorn machines offer a fun and easy way to experience the world of roasting raw coffee with a low investment in the necessary accessories. When buying, do not forget to add raw coffee to the basket and, if desired, a precision scale for easier and more accurate weighing .

ATTENTION! Since you will be using the machine to roast coffee for a purpose other than what it was designed for, there is a possibility that you will lose the warranty. Hot air popcorn machines are not designed for roasting coffee.

Keep in mind that we recommend it as the most suitable device for those who would like to start roasting coffee at home, but are not ready to spend money on appropriate stoves, which are incomparably more expensive and at the same time accept the risk of the possibility of losing the warranty. We repeat, coffee roasting is strictly a do-it-yourself (DIY) use.

- Place the appliance in a ventilated place near a kitchen fan or a window, if possible. It's nice to have a strong light above the work surface, as this will make it easier and more accurate to assess the state of roasting. On a nice day, we recommend roasting outdoors.

- Pour approx. 40-50g of raw coffee into the machine. Start with less and make sure that the appliance circulates well during roasting (if it does not circulate, use a wooden stove).

- As the roasting progresses, the mass decreases and thus the circulation becomes easier and more uniform. After the first two minutes, the coffee will turn yellow and then brown. Cover the machine with the attached lid and prepare a container for cooling the coffee after roasting (we suggest a strainer). Then you wait for the "first bang". When the first pop stops, the coffee is ready to use. How long you bake it depends on your taste or from the coffee preparation method. After an additional two minutes, there will be a "second bang" that announces dark roast coffee.

Believe it or not, after the first pop, every 10 seconds of roasting will produce a long coffee flavor (salty, sour, sweet, bitter)

- When you think the roasting color suits you, pour the coffee out of the machine into a strainer and stir to cool it down as quickly as possible. If you don't, roasting will continue due to the high temperature.

- Then put the coffee in a bag or container, which must not be sealed due to the emission of Co2!

- You can use it for filter coffee the next day, but for preparation on an espresso machine, we recommend that the coffee "rest" for at least a week.

We wish you lots of fun and fragrant coffee moments!
