Comandante C40 MK4 NITRO - Sunset

The Comandante C40 MK4 Nitro Blade is a new version of one of the best coffee grinders in the world. The device offers a wide grinding range, stable operation and sophisticated design with premium materials.

The MK4 version includes several updates:

- New shape and material of the knife frame - more robust, with greater capacity and no trapped grains!
- Each grinder is equipped with two glasses: 1x brown glass and 1x transparent polymer glass. The latter is light, durable and can be used as a cup!
- Redesigned packaging with improved protection.

Knives

The material and design of the grinder is the proud result of years of dedicated research and development in the Comandante® on-site coffee laboratory. Nitro Blade® knives are unique in that they use high-alloy stainless steel with a high nitrogen content and a fine martensitic microcrystalline matrix.

The geometry of the knives has been optimized to achieve excellent grain yield with reduced torque while providing a refined particle size distribution for the best cooking results.

Grind setting

The Comandante click system gives you full control over any brewing method and locks in the grind setting you want, helping you get the best results from your roasted coffee and repeat them again and again. This superior grinding performance has made the Nitro Blade the weapon of choice for true coffee lovers around the world, from home baristas to World Brewers Cup champions.

Shape

Stainless steel is the right choice for making a robust and food-safe coffee grinder. Therefore, not only the grinder, but also the housing, axle, handle and micro-ball bearings are made of stainless steel. Comandante products do not contain aluminum.

Where performance-enhancing polymers can be used, Comandante uses high-performance BPA-free polymers that meet the strictest food safety standards. These materials are designed to withstand years of intensive use.

Comandante likes natural wood. The solid oak handles, made by friends in the German Black Forest, are wonderfully ergonomic and beautiful to look at thanks to the unique structure of the oak fibers.

The Classic and Special Coating models use a robust and stylish powder coating that is baked at a high temperature and not just applied with paint.

Each C40 MK4 comes with one brown glass bean jar and one clear polymer glass bean jar. Both containers are very easy to clean and can hold approximately 40g of roasted coffee beans. Weighing in at just over 600g, the C40's compact size and robustness mean the world's best hand grinder is your faithful companion, whether you're at home or on an adventure.
