Features and performance

Based on the Anima espresso machine series, the Magenta Plus inherits the same slim design with a width of less than 10 cm, tall spouts with a 6-inch space and the same updated brewing group that doses 6.5 to 11.5 g of freshly ground coffee for each drink. The improvements start with the Magenta full-colour display, which has clear icon navigation for all drink options and audible feedback to confirm your selection. The one-touch beverage offering will satisfy all coffee lovers, with espresso (x2), espresso lungo (x2), coffee (x2) and a real Americano available at the touch of a button. You can also prepare hot water for tea or cocoa and, most importantly, froth milk.

Each beverage can be adjusted to the desired temperature, strength and volume. You can also choose to brew pre-ground coffee using the bypass dispenser or prepare two beverages in succession by selecting the espresso, espresso lungo or caffè options. The hot water function can be set to the desired amount, while the steam function will emit steam for as long as you want. A true commercial steam wand with a 1-hole tip takes some practice, but produces the best frothed milk of any super-automatic machine on the market.

Not only has the cooking performance been improved, but so has the aesthetics of the appliance, which has been updated in a similar way to the Cadorna series. In addition to the colour display, attention has also been paid to the spout assembly and drip tray, which have been given striking red accents, a secure magnetic lid and a subtle but ingenious stainless steel cup platform that can be attached to the front of the appliance to prevent splashing when cooking in smaller cups.
